The working farm around you let you immerse in country australia and learn loads about regenerative and sustainable farming. And the dinkum dunny is a winner! Rohan and Fiona are wonderful hosts. “Got the most delicious and ethically raised Christmas ham from this lovely family! They were absolutely wonderful and answered all my (many) questions about how the animals are raised and cured, double checked my gluten allergies, and were so nice when I had to change the size of my order three times! It was easy to meet for the ham pickup, and they even said we could come see the farm and see how the animals are raised!
On to the ham itself – every single person agreed that this was the best ham any of us had ever tasted. It was 10/10, wonderful, insanely delicious. The smokey flavour was just amazing, and the pickling spices used were perfect! It really helped knowing the ham was ethically raised and cared for, completely organic, with zero nitrates. The ham also came with a handy guide on cooking and storing it, which was very helpful.
Overall, this was the best Christmas ham ever, and I would HIGHLY recommend to everyone!”

“My partner and I stayed at their Valley View campsite for two nights over the weekend. From the moment we arrived Rohan and Fiona made us feel so welcome on their farm. It was quickly apparent that they really cared about the quality of our stay on their amazing property. Our campsite was beautiful, with a large fire pit and views of the valley and stars. The creek was about a 10 minute walk from our site, though they have sites much closer if desirable. The water was so clear and refreshing, my partner and I made multiple trips to the waterfall during our stay. The farm animals were great, along with the scenery. The campsites are nicely spaced apart too, allowing a good amount of privacy which was lovely.
On our way out, we stopped by the front to buy some of Fiona and Rohan’s organic produce; fresh eggs, lamb, bacon, and handmade soap bars (which smell amazing). We had a few lovely chats before heading back to Brisbane.
Overall, it was truly a pleasure to stay at Gleneden Farm. Fiona and Rohan have such a positive and refreshing outlook toward sustainability and organic farming, and it was nice to hear their thoughts on a couple things.
I highly recommend Gleneden for anyone looking for a relaxing few days surrounded by beautiful scenery and people.

“This destination is incredible! It is a REAL working farm that is also an amazing relaxing place to visit, camp and just enjoy the serenity. PLUS soo many things to see and do… AND soo many animals! The countryside is sensational and the family who run the farm are SOO lovely! It was not overcrowded either, even though many families where camping there when I visited. Each were quite a long distance from each other… we barely even knew other campers were there at the farm. While staying at the farm I also bought organic meat from their shop! I cooked it up that night. Tasty and delicious is an understatement! I can not recommend this place enough!”

“A rare authentic experience of life at a farm, no ‘setup’ or rushed in-and-out experience. As a family we did the blacksmith workshop, milked a cow, watched yoghurt and cheese being made, watched a baby lamb being fed and enjoyed the pretty views. The owners were really lovely and accommodating, making sure we had a great day. All kinds of shorter and longer experiences available. A brilliant activity to pop in if you’re staying in the area, and there’s also the option to stay on the farm too. The blacksmith work can be enjoyed by a group of mates or a young family alike!”
